Ibiza and Airplanes in Sight

With a happy expression on my face, I quietly exited one of the best hotels Ibiza has and headed over to Bora Bora where Allan, the hottest DJ, and Raul were waiting for me. It was so nice of Allen to arrange a fee lunch for me due to me being robbed in the wee hours today. I wasn’t too hungry, so I asked for just a salad and ate my lunch by the beach. I was doing my best to put behind me, being scared to death. I still had clubs to see, people to meet and 4 nights to party!

After my quiet lunch, I took a walk along the beach with Raul. We mainly took pictures of the extraordinary sunset and all the local fishermen bay-side bringing in their fishing rods. We walked past someones amazing sand castle, abandoned, left behind and all alone. They was a certain mastery about how it was constructed, it had a Gothic cathedral look about it. Very meticulous carvings and it even had a lower vault crossing from all sides. Really very impressive.

Suddenly, my attention was diverted to an unattended fishing rod that came to life. I saw this elderly fisherman ran as fast as he could to pull on the rod. The fish was giving him quite a fight. When he finally pulled it out, I kind of felt sorry for the fish, he was squirming and wriggling as hard as he could has the fisherman pulled the hook from it’s mouth. I really can’t stand to see an animal in pain, so I had to turn away and start walking away. Then this 747 airplane flew over our heads, a very common sight in Ibiza. The airplanes are part of the landscape and now I understood why all the magazines and photos of Ibiza always has an airplane flying through the palm trees.

I headed back to my hotel room to get a nap in before tonight’s activities, and it was nice that Raul accompanied me, I’m still a little shook up from being robbed and he was kind enough to make sure I made it back to my hotel safely.
